How to refine gold scrap to 99.9%~99.99% gold.
Below I have listed several commonly used gold refining methods.
1. Use fire directly to melt out other impurities except gold, then get the high purity 99.9% gold;
Real gold is not afraid of fire. The simplest way to refine gold is to use fire to refine it. Use fire to remove impurities that are not gold and melt them all. This is also the oldest method of refining gold.
2. Dissolve scrap gold with cyanide. Other things except gold will be dissolved when they come into contact with cyanide.
Gold can be refined using the cyanide dissolution method. Cyanide has a strong dissolving ability. Many things will dissolve directly when they come into contact with cyanide, but gold will not. Compared with other method, this method can obtain very high purity gold, and there is no problem reaching the 99.9% pure gold standard.
3. Soak in aqua regia to extract and refine gold;
You can collect circuit boards to extract gold. Remove the motherboard from the circuit board, grind it into powder or small pieces, soak it in aqua regia, then filter the liquid, and then add a reducing agent to the liquid to reduce it to gold. Filter and clean to get the final gold.
4. Refining gold by heating concentrated nitric acid;
Pour concentrated nitric acid into a beaker, add the scrap gold into the beaker, and then heat the beaker by furnace. Keep heating and add nitric acid to dissolve other impurities in the scrap gold, until only the the gold is not dissolved by nitric acid, the remaining gold obtained is pure gold.
5.Gold is refined by mixing sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide in proportions.
Mix sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide in a ratio of one to one, then put the scrap gold that need to be refined into the solution and wait for them to react naturally. After the reaction is completed, the yellow metal object obtained is pure gold.
6. It uses electrolysis machine to refining 95% gold to 99.99% gold.
Use more than 95% gold as the anode, titanium sheet or pure gold as the cathode, chloroauric acid solution as the electrolyte, and pass in the DC/AC/DC superimposed power supply to dissolve 95% of the gold in the anode and pure gold to precipitate in the cathode. This is to achieve the purpose of refining gold.
